Description
Topsoil from St. Louis Composting is a screened and processed mineral soil. It forms the uppermost layer of the soil profile and usually has a dark color with high organic matter.
This topsoil is classified as silty loam, which means it contains over 50% silt and 5% to 20% clay. Because of this, it holds moisture well and supports healthy plant growth.
With some organic content, silty loam topsoil works great for general landscaping and garden preparation.
