Description
Cedar mulch is a premium, long-lasting hardwood mulch, similar in performance to cypress mulch but with a distinct fresh, woodsy scent and natural pest-repelling properties. It features larger, coarser pieces than many other mulches, allowing it to resist compaction and decompose more slowly—reducing the need for frequent reapplication. Its warm reddish-brown color enhances any landscape, though it may weather to a soft gray more quickly due to sun exposure. This natural fading doesn’t impact performance—cedar mulch continues to provide excellent weed suppression, moisture retention, soil insulation, and erosion control season after season.
